Notting Hill - Granger & Co and more

A very nice area in London, where you can find everything from clothes shops, vintage furniture and very good restaurants is Notting Hill. It is a very quite (besides Portobello Road, which is full of tourists at the weekends) peaceful and idyllic area with small colourful houses and beautiful planted streets. I love to go there every now and then, preferentially during the week and just walk a bit around enjoy some food and have a look at some vintage shops. Westbourne Grove is one of my favourite streets, which full of nice cafés (202 London and Granger & co) and fashion shops, as Sienna Miller's shop twenty8twelve or Heidi Klein. In a side street - Ledbury Road - there is Ottolenghi's delicious deli and an other great fashion shop called matchesfashion.com. Here are some of my weekend snapshots

Granger & Co. is ideal if you want to enjoy a very delicious breakfast. They are famous for their scrambled eggs, ricotta hot cakes and sweetcorn fitters. I think the scrambled eggs there, are they best I have ever eaten and the most beautiful as well. The queue is always long, I have never seen this place empty, plus it can be quite loud in there, nothing for sensitive ears. But THE FOOD....delicious!

Granger & Co's ricotta hotcakes are my favourite dish. I have never eaten so fluffy ricotta pancakes before and the cakes themselves are not too sweet actually. The incredibly delicious honeycomb butter adds the perfectly sweet 'to die for' flavour. A real treat.

Best Ricotta Hotcakes with honeycomb-butter! This dish is so worth queuing!

After that lovely breakfast we stopped by at Ottolenghi, a must-go for every foodie! The cakes but also the savory dishes as salads, fish or steak are amazing.
